Bagel - Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese

If you are seeking any creative ways to enjoy bagels to go beyond the usual toppings, then I am sure you will love this recipe. Great for a Go-To quick lunch. Enjoy!


  • Half bagel

  • Smoked salmon

  • Cream cheese

  • Grilled onions

  • Hot honey

  • Mushrooms


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm the bagel. Place it on a baking sheet already cut in half horizontally. Warm until they are slightly crispy and remove from oven. You can also toast the bagel if you prefer.

  2. Spread cream cheese on the bagel.

  3. Lay the smoked salmon slices evenly over the cream cheese layer

  4. In a small skillet over medium heat, add the grilled onions and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the onions are slightly caramelized.

  5. Spoon the sautéed onions and mushrooms over the smoked salmon.

  6. Drizzle the hot honey over the onion and mushroom mixture. Adjust the amount according to your desired level of spiciness.
